'PDZscape Search tool' can be used to find comprehensive information about known PDZ proteins. The database can be searched either by a keyword or by providing external identifiers such as PDB IDs, STRING IDs, Uniprot IDs etc.

1. Keyword search: Generic keywords related to the protein can be used to search the database; various keywords can be used in combination with AND/OR for more specific searches

2. Identifier search: External identifiers from UniProt, PDB and STRING can be used to query the database. Comma (,) should be used to separate multiple entries if any

3. Organism search: This option should be used to search all the PDZ-containing proteins from a selected organism
